Jasmine Grandiflorum
Jasminum grandiflorum
Botanical family: Oleaceae
Method of culture: Ethically Farmed
Part harvested: Flower Blossoms
Properties: Euphoria
Jasmine is a climbing vine renowned for the exquisite scent of its white flowers. Often referred to as “Queen of the Night”, the plants’ delicate blossoms are most fragrant during the evening and must be harvested before dawn.
Our Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute has voluptuous floral top notes with cinnamic and subtle clove-like undertones whilst the dry down reveals soft impressions of fresh tropical fruits. It takes approximately 8,000 carefully hand-picked jasmine blossoms to yield 1 ml of the absolute oil making it one of the most precious ingredients in fine perfumery. Most of the perfumes on the market today include a synthetic version of the real deal.
